The Family

The Todd family has a long history of farming. Currently run by two generations, Father & Son, Dan & Andy Todd grow pears and wine grapes in Mendocino county. Dan Todd grew up in a farming family. His father and grandfather grew Oranges in Southern California. In 1977, at the age of 21 Dan began farming Pears in Potter Valley. In 1987 he made the transition to organically farming pears.

In 2013 Andy Todd, Dan’s oldest son, moved home to Potter Valley with his family of five to start learning the craft of farming. With both families now farming they were able to expand their operation and begin growing wine grapes as well.
